How long have you been in business?

The Rivett Family has been in the event planning/catering business for over 30 years. The Carriage House was established in 1992.

When I have a wedding and reception at The Carriage House how many hours do I have?

You are allotted two hours before your ceremony begins for photos, set up and rehearsal within your ceremony package. The extra hours are part of your ceremony fee so you are renting the facility for only that time frame. The ceremony package will be 3 hours from the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception. You can choose to add an additional 30 minutes for your ceremony to have a full 3 hour reception at an additional fee. Please consult with your coordinator if additional time is needed. We will work with you to arrange as much time as you need as long as it does not interfere with another event.

Are you the only caterer allowed at The Carriage House?

Yes. We provide catering for all events held at The Carriage House.

Do you provide all alcoholic beverages onsite or can we bring our own?

The Carriage House is required to provide all alcoholic beverages served onsite and all beverages are served by our staff. No outside alcohol is allowed.

Are children included in our price per person and do we have to include other wedding vendors in our count?

Children under 10 are not included in your price per person however you should include your wedding vendors as well as your bridal party.

Do we have to use your baker for our wedding cake?

You may use any licensed baker to do your wedding cake. We can provide this service for you if you choose. Additional Fee applies.

Do you provide music?

The Carriage House is contracted with a local DJ Service who provides music, Uplighting and GoBo’s. Additional Fees Apply. You are welcome to bring in your own music. All music and equipment including speakers will need to be provided by your vendor.

Is there a retainer required to hold the date? Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes. A 25% retainer is required to reserve the date and time of your event. This is calculated on the total amount of your contract. In order to officially reserve the date and time of your event you must sign a contract and provide a retainer.

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept Checks, Cash, Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks. Credit Cards with 3% processing fee. We also arrange payment plans with monthly payments ask your coordinator about details.

When is final payment and head count due?

The final payment of your contract is due 4 weeks prior to your event. However, increase of or final headcount and payment increase is due 14 days prior to the date of your event.

What is your refund or cancellation policy?

All retainers are non-refundable however they are transferable for the original lessee once within 12 months of the original date. Transfers to another year may require an additional retainer and new contract with current prices.
